Wild Rice Apple Bake

- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain wild rice
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3 c. chopped apple
- 2 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
- 1 c. sliced celery
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 2 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Place contents of rice and seasoning packets in 2-quart casserole.

2Melt butter.

3Add apples and sprinkle with brown sugar.

4Cook until apples are lightly glazed.

5Add celery, raisins and water.

6Bring to a boil.

7Pour over rice, stir and cover. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.

8Uncover, stir and bake, uncovered, for 5 minutes longer.

9Makes 6 to 8 servings.
