Wild Rice Casserole

  • 1 c. wild rice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    Brown sausage and onion, drain, saute mushrooms till tender. Combine with cheese and rice and water.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Pour into lightly oiled casserole dish.

    Cover and bake 1 hour at 350.
