  • 2 slices ham
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 c. sour milk or buttermilk
  • 1/4 stick butter
  • lettuce
  • sweet onion
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Fry ham in butter.

    Remove ham; keep warm.

    Brown remaining juice and pour mixture of eggs, sour milk and salt and pepper into hot skillet.

    Cook until thickened.

    Stir often to keep from burning.

    Pour over lettuce and onion.

    Serve hot.
