- 1 head lettuce
- 1 medium onion
- 6 strips bacon
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 2 or 3 Tbsp. vinegar
Directions

1Tear lettuce into bite-size pieces.

2Chop onion and toss together with lettuce.

3Meanwhile, cook bacon until crisp.

4Remove from pan.

5Drain on paper towel.

6Mix 1/2 cup vegetable oil with bacon drippings left in pan.

7Add vinegar.

8Heat and pour over lettuce and onion.

9Serve immediately.
