  • 3 3/4 oz. pkg. chocolate pudding (instant)
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 3/4 c. cream sherry, rum or Madeira
  • 2 1/2 c. xxxx sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/4 c. cream sherry or rum
  • 2 Tbsp. water

Directions

    May add 1/2 cup each chopped nuts, raisins and/or candied cherries to yellow cake.

    Bourbon may be used in place of wine. Add Macadamia nuts and drained pineapple bits.

    Best with glaze and improves with age!
