Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 (1.5 oz.) pkg. spaghetti sauce mix
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pod green pepper (optional)

Directions

    Cook ground chuck and onion in a large skillet until meat is browned (I add green pepper with ground chuck and onion).

    Stir to crumble meat; drain.

    Add sauce mix, tomato sauce and water, mixing well.

    Simmer 10 minutes.

    Spoon meat mixture into a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.

    Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese.
