- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. Crisco
Directions

1Mix yeast, milk and sugar; let stand 10 minutes.

2In bowl, put flour, baking powder and salt.

3Cut in Crisco and liquid.

4Knead until smooth; roll out about 3/4-inch thick and cut place in greased pan.

5Brush with butter.

6Let rise 30 minutes or until double in size.

7Bake at 425° for 15 minutes.
