- 5 c. self-rising flour
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. cooking oil
- 5 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. warm water
Directions

1Take yeast and put in warm water with sugar; set aside. Measure flour, put in a bowl.

2Add milk and oil with warm water and yeast.

3Add to flour and mix real well.

4Knead it for a few minutes and put back in a buttered bowl.

5Let it rise, about 2 hours.

6Then make it out in biscuits.

7Let them rise and cook in oven at 375° until brown.
