Ingredients
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 1 egg
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 3 1/2 c. flour or 2 c. white flour and 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
Directions

1Melt shortening with sugar and hot water.

2Cool.

3Combine well beaten egg with yeast and add 1/2 cup lukewarm water.

4Add shortening mixture to egg mixture and stir in flour.

5Beat well and let rise in refrigerator overnight.

6Roll out dough and grease pan.

7Let rise in warm place about 3 hours.

8Cook at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
