  • fat from meat (roast beef) (enough to almost cover bottom of 8 x 8-inch square pan)
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Mix flour, salt, eggs and milk together.

    Add to hot fat and bake at 450° until puffy and brown on edges.
