- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1 can top quality white creamed corn
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 to 1 c. whole milk
Directions

1Combine dry ingredients in mixing bowl.

2Mix egg and creamed corn together. Stir into dry ingredients.

3Slowly add milk to obtain consistency of thick pancake batter.

4Pour into greased nonstick pan, filling halfway.

5Bake in preheated 450° oven for 20 to 25 minutes.

6Can also be cooked like pancakes in a skillet for a delicious spoon bread.
