Ingredients

  • 4 pounds pork ribs country-style
  • 1 medium onions sliced
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup, dark
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar firmly packed
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 cup ketchup

Directions

    Place sapreribs in 4 to 6 quart Dutch oven.

    Coverribs with water, salt to taste.

    Bring to boil; reduce heat.

    Simmer, covered for 1 hour or until ribs are tender; drain.

    Place in 13x9 inch baking dish.

    Heat oven to 325F (160C).

    In a medium bowl, mix remaining ingredients.

    Pour sauce over ribs.
