- 1 lb. round steak, cut 1/4-inch thick
- 1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms (with liquid)
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. flour
Directions

1Trim fat from meat and reserve.

2Cut meat diagonally across grain in very thin strips.

3Heat fat in skillet until you have about 3 tablespoons melted fat (if necessary, add butter); remove trimmings.

4Brown meat.

5Add 2/3 cup water and mushrooms.

6Stir in soup mix.

7Heat to boiling.

8Blend sour cream and flour.

9Add to hot mixture.

10Cook and stir until mixture thickens; sauce will be thin.

11Serve over noodles.
