- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Parmesan cheese, grated
- purple onion rings, sliced thin
- 1 can water chestnuts
- 1 pt. mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Directions

1Place layer of lettuce in a 13 x 9-inch pan. Layer onion rings, celery and water chestnuts.

2Sprinkle with peas.

3Frost with mayonnaise.

4Sprinkle mayonnaise with salt, pepper and sugar. Top with Mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Cover. Refrigerate 24 hours.
