  • 9 chicken wings jointed
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 hot sauce Frank's
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or more
  • 1/2 cayenne pepper or more

Directions

    Prepare your hot sauce by melting butter in a saucepan, pour in Frank's hot sauce, salt and cayenne pepper. Stir to combine.

    Set aside and prepare your chicken wings. Wash under tap water, pat dry and cut between the soft bones of each tip, wingette and drumette.

    Pour half of the spicy sauce over chicken wings, mix and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Overnight if desired.

    Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Place chicken wings on a broiler pan or on top of a rack with a pan underneath to catch the oil/sauce.

    Bake for 45 mins or until gold and crispy.
