- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onions
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. chopped peppers (optional)
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- dash of basil
Directions

1Combine meat, crumbs, onion, peppers and seasonings.

2Mix in half of the tomato sauce (reserve remainder).

3Form meat mixture into meat balls.

4Top with reserved tomato sauce.

5Meat balls are baked in rectangle baking pan.

6Garnish with Parmesan cheese and olive slices (optional).

7Bake in 350° oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Serves 4 or more.
