Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas (uncooked), thawed
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped green peppers
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped green onions
  • 2 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 4 oz. shredded cheese or 1/3 c. grated Parmesan
  • 8 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled

Directions

    In a large glass bowl, layer ingredients in order; cut or tear lettuce.

    Layer celery, eggs, peas, green pepper, green onion, mayo and sprinkle with sugar.

    Be sure all edges are sealed.

    Top with layer of fried crumbled bacon.

    Cover salad with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate at least 12 hours before serving.
