- 1 lb. dried prunes
- 1/4 lb. dried apricots
- 1 c. seedless raisins
- 1 c. tapioca (1/4 c. dry)
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 apples, sliced
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1/2 c. red sour pitted cherries
Directions

1Soak fruit and tapioca overnight.

2The next day cook all ingredients, except cherries, in 1/2 gallon of water for about 1/4 hour.

3(Wine may be substituted for some of the water.)

4Add cherries and cool.

5Very good for breakfast or an evening snack.
