  • 12 - Chicken drum sticks or thigh (dark meat is best)
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup of soy sauce (Swan is best)
  • 3/4 cup of distilled vinegar
  • 3/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 1 cup of water

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in a large pan and cook at medium for an hour. Make sure to lower the heat between low and medium to prevent burning the meat at the bottom of the pan.
