- 2 doz. chowder clams (ground)
- 1/2 lb. salt pork
- 6 potatoes
- 2 carrots (large)
- 2 medium onions
- 1 small can stewed tomatoes
Directions

1Steam clams to open.

2Strain juice thoroughly.

3Grind salt pork and brown in small pan.

4Grind potatoes, carrots and onions. Put in a 5-quart pot.

5Add water to cover; cook until almost tender.

6Add pork, clams and juice.

7Simmer 2 to 3 hours.

8Add stewed tomatoes in the last 15 minutes.
