- 1 c. margarine, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 c. regular oats (uncooked)
- 1 c. crushed corn flakes
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. nuts
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. coconut
Directions

1Cream butter.

2Gradually add sugars, beating well at medium speed.

3Add eggs; beat well.

4Add oil and vanilla, mixing well. Combine flour, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Stir in oats and remaining ingredients.

5Shape dough into 1-inch balls; place on cookie sheet.

6Flatten with fork.

7Bake at 325° for 15 minutes.

8Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet.
