Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 to 3 lb. stew meat or beef roast, cut into chunks
  • 4 to 5 medium potatoes
  • 4 to 5 carrots
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can green beans

Directions

    Peel and chunk all vegetables.

    Put all ingredients (except beans) in a Dutch oven or big covered roasting pan.

    Bake at 300° for 5 hours. About 1/2 hour before serving, add the beans.

    No peeking before then.
