- 3 (4 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds
- 1 lb. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 large milk chocolate bars
Directions

1Melt butter in iron skillet.

2Add sugar, stirring constantly, until dissolved.

3Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

4Add 2 1/2 packages of almonds.

5Cool at least 7 minutes or longer, until mixture turns deep amber brown.

6The almonds have to pop and the oil works in.

7Pour onto cookie sheet.

8When hard, melt chocolate and cover.
