- 5 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 c. milk
- 3/4 c. vegetable shortening
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 yeast cake or packet, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening until mixed thoroughly.

2Add milk and dissolved yeast.

3Work together with a large spoon until all flour is moist.

4Cover bowl and refrigerate until ready to use.

5Bake at 350° until brown.

6Dough will keep for weeks in refrigerator.
