- 1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Sift together flour and 3/4 cup sugar twice.

2Beat egg whites, cream of tartar, salt and vanilla until foamy.

3Beat in the remaining sugar until meringue holds stiff peaks.

4Add flour, sugar mixture.

5Put in 10-inch tube pan.

6Bake at 375° for 35 minutes.
