- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 1/2 c. quick oats
- 1 1/2 c. apple butter
- 1 c. butter or oleo
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1Sift flour, soda, salt and sugar in mixing bowl.

2Mix in uncooked oats; add melted butter.

3Mix well.

4Press 1/2 of the mixture into a 12 x 18 x 2-inch ungreased pan.

5Spread with the apple butter, then cover with the remaining batter.

6Pat lightly. Bake at 350° for 45 to 55 minutes or until lightly brown.

7Cool in pan and cut into bars.
