- 1 lb. carrots, scraped and sliced diagonally
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 4 medium cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine, thinly sliced and divided
- 3/4 c. orange juice
Directions

1Combine carrots and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.

2Cover and reduce heat. Simmer 5 minutes or until crisp-tender.

3Drain carrots and set aside.
