- 1 can (11 oz.) condensed Cheddar cheese soup
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 6 c. toasted bread cubes
- 1/2 c. chopped almonds
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 2 c. sliced, peeled apples
- 1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese
- whipped cream
Directions

1Combine soup, milk, brown sugar and cinnamon in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.

2Reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes.

3Add butter, toast, almonds and raisins.

4Spoon half of the soup mixture in the bottom of a 1 1/2-quart casserole.

5Top with apples and remaining toast mixture.

6Cover and bake at 350°

7for 25 minutes.

8Uncover and bake for 5 minutes more.

9Serve with whipped cream.
