  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 cups flour, all-purpose
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups apples
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup milk

Directions

    Heat oven to 325F (160C).

    Grease a tube pan.

    Mix oil & sugar in lg mixing bowl.

    Add eggs, flour, soda, vanilla, & salt.

    Beat with electric mixer until well blended & mixture is stiff.

    Stir in apples, coconuts, & pecans.

    Spoon into cake pan, bake for 1 1/2 hrs.

    Topping: Mix all ingredients well.

    Bring to a boil for 2 min.

    Pour over hot cake.
