- 6 to 8 apples, peeled and cored
- 2 c. flour
- 3/4 c. Crisco
- 1 tsp. salt
- 6 Tbsp. cold water
- sugar
- cinnamon
- butter
Directions

1Cut Crisco and salt into flour until smaller than dime size lumps.

2Add cold water.

3Divide dough into 8 pieces and roll out. Place apple in center of each crust; fill center of apple with sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.

4Put 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon butter on top.

5Cover with pie dough.

6Place in pan; bake until light brown.

7Serve hot with cold milk.
