- 6 cups apples
- 34 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 18 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions

1Peal and core apples (about 4 large) and place in large bowl.

2Add lemon juice and stir.

3In small bowl combine remaining ingredients, mix and add to apples.

4Stir until apples are well coated.

5Pour in your favorite pie crust.

6Bake at 425 for 40 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown.

7To keep edges of crust from burning.

8Cover with foil for the first 20 minutes.
