Apple Pie Granola

- 3 12 cups rolled oats
- 1 14 cups wheat germ
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 14 teaspoon clove
- 12 teaspoon allspice
- 34 cup unsweetened apple butter (I used Zapple Butter)
- 13 cup maple syrup (ideally grade B)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 pinch salt
- 12 cup diced dried apple
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment or SilPat.

2In a bowl, toss together the oats, wheat germ and spices.

3Add the apple butter, maple syrup, vanilla and salt, stirring well to evenly coat everything.

4Spread in one even layer on the baking sheet.

5Bake for 25 minutes, then stir to break apart and bake a further 20-25 minutes until well browned and firm.

6Cool 10 minutes then fold in the dried apples and cool completely on the tray.
