  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. oil
  • 4 to 5 apples, pared and cut small
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

    Sift together dry ingredients; set aside.

    In a mixing bowl, beat together eggs and sugar until well blended.

    Add oil; beat well.

    Mix thoroughly; do not overbeat. Fold in apples and nuts.

    Bake in a well-greased 11 x 15-inch sheet cake pan at 350° for 45 minutes.
