  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 1/2 c. peeled and chopped apples
  • 2 Tbsp. hot water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Cream butter or margarine and sugar.

    Stir in egg.

    Sift together flour, baking soda and cinnamon.

    Add to first mixture. Add apples, hot water and nuts.

    Put in greased 8 or 9-inch pan.
