  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. slivered almonds
  • 1 pkg. 1 layer size yellow cake mix
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • Frozen dessert topping for garnish

    Drain apricots, reserving 2 tablespoons syrup.

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Place butter or margarine in a 9x1 1/2-inch round baking pan.

    Melt butter in pan in oven while preheating.
