- 1/3 c. dried apricots
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 c. flour
- 1 unbeaten egg white
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- chopped nuts
Directions

1Rinse apricots with cold water.

2Cover with water and cook until very tender.

3Mash through a coarse sieve and add 1/3 cup sugar.

4Cook slowly until thick, stirring constantly.

5Cool.
