- 4 eggs
- 3/4 c. oil
- 3/4 c. apricot nectar
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 sticks butter
- 1/2 c. rum
Directions

1Mix eggs, oil and apricot nectar in bowl.

2Add cake mix and beat 4 to 5 minutes on medium speed.

3Pour into greased and floured tube pan or Bundt pan.

4Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes. While cake is baking, melt together over heat sugar, butter and rum.

5As soon as cake is done, pour rum mixture all over top, slowly, while still in pan, allowing it to seep in.

6Let cool several hours before removing from pan.

7Serve plain or as shortcake.
