Ingredients

  • 200 grams pasta (about half a package)
  • 8 baby carrots, peeled and halved lenghtwise
  • 2 garlic cloves, grated
  • 300 grams peas
  • 400 grams mushrooms
  • 1 cm peeled and grated ginger root
  • 1 squeeze tomato paste (about 1 tablespoon)
  • 1 soy sauce
  • 1 sesame oil
  • 1 sambal oelek (spicy chili sauce)
  • 1 tsp chinese five spice
  • 1 black pepper

Directions

    Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente.

    Drain and set aside

    Heat some vegetable oil in a wok over high heat.

    Add carrots and fry for a minute
  5. 5
    Then add garlic, ginger and mushrooms until golden brown.

    Finally, add the peas

    When nicely browned, turn off heat, add pasta, sesame oil, soy sauce, sambal oelek, black pepper, chinese five spice and tomato paste

    Stir well to combine and enjoy!
