Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 c. crumbled saltine crackers
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. warm milk
  • onion powder to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans green-tipped asparagus, drained
  • 1 can cream of asparagus soup
  • 1/2 c. melted Velveeta cheese
  • 1/4 c. milk

Directions

    Melt margarine.

    Add crackers and stir until well mixed and color changes.

    Mix together eggs, milk, onion and salt.

    Add crackers and asparagus; mix again.

    Turn into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350° for 30 minutes, until set.

    Heat soup with milk; mix in melted cheese, pour over loaf and serve.
