- 1/2 lb. sliced bacon, cut in 1-inch pieces
- 2 small onions, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. water
- 2 c. diced potatoes
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 cans creamed corn
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Fry bacon until crisp.

2Drain.

3Saute onion in drippings for about 5 minutes.

4Blend in flour and mix to a smooth paste. Gradually add water and stir until smooth.

5Add potatoes, celery and bay leaves.

6Cover and cook over low heat.

7Blend in corn, milk, seasonings and bacon.

8Heat and serve.
