Bacon n Garlic Fried Potatoes

  • 6 tbsp bacon grease
  • 5 lb pkg.. red potatoes
  • 1 salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 tbsp dried parsley
  • 3 1/2 tbsp minced garlic.. I used the jarred kind... so alter amount to your taste.
  • 4 slice cooked bacon,.crumbled
  • 1 very large skillet, deep skillet preferred.

Directions

    wash potatoes.

    then slice potatoes into circles about the size and thickness of crinkle cut potato chips.

    heat skillet with garlic and bacon grease, just enough to be hot but not sizzling.

    medium high heat

    toss in potatoes and all other ingredients except the bacon.

    medium low to medium heat.

    fry potatoes until they become soft flipping and turning them to cook evenly.

    continue to cook on medium high heat.. add bacon crumbles... continue to cook so you crisp up about half the potatoes much like hashbrowns.

    serve alongside your favorite dish.
