  • 2 lb. bass fillets
  • 1 can cream of tomato soup
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • pepper to taste

    Cut fillets into 6 servings.

    Rub baking dish with shortening. Put fish in baking dish.

    Mix onion, soup, salt and pepper; spread over fish.

    Sprinkle grated cheese on top.

    Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork.
