- 2 lb. beef cubes
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. celery seed
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 4 medium onions, sliced
- 6 medium potatoes, sliced thin
- 1 1/2 c. hot water
- 4 tsp. beef bouillon
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- butter
Directions

1Mix together flour and seasonings and dredge the meat in mixture.

2In a large casserole with tight-fitting lid, arrange in layers the meat and vegetables.

3Add bouillon to hot water and then add Worcestershire sauce.

4Pour evenly over casserole.

5Dot the surface with butter.

6Cover casserole and bake at 325° for 3 hours.
