Ingredients
- 3 or 4 garlic cloves
- 2 or 3 small onions
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 small can chopped clams or 1 c. fresh, chopped clams
- 1 c. white wine
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 1/3 lb. butter
- chopped parsley for color
- bread crumbs
- paprika
Directions

1Mince garlic cloves and chop small onions.

2Saute in oil.

3Add clams, white wine, celery salt, salt and pepper to taste, oregano and butter; simmer for 15 minutes.

4Add chopped parsley for color. Add enough bread crumbs to absorb liquid.

5Fill clam shells, then sprinkle with paprika.

6Bake for 15 minutes at 375°.

7Filled clam shells can be frozen until ready to be baked.
