Ingredients

  • 2 lb. stewing beef
  • 1 c. cut up carrots
  • 2 large potatoes (or more if desired), peeled and cut up
  • 1 can peas or 2 c. frozen peas
  • 1 can tomato soup (clean can out with water and add to stew)
  • 2 onions, cut up
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Mix together.

    Put in roaster or Dutch oven with tight lid. Bake at 275° for 5 or 6 hours.

    Don't brown the meat.

    Don't look at the stew until done.
