- 1/2 c. margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 large or 3 small ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. sour milk
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Beat margarine and sugar with mixer for 3 minutes or until light and fluffy.

2Stir in bananas.

3Sift flour, soda and salt. Add flour mixture gradually to batter.

4Stir until well mixed. Add sour milk.

5Stir until smooth.

6Pour batter into loaf pan. Sprinkle top with nuts, if desired.

7Bake at 375° for 1 hour or until the center is baked when tested.

8Cool 10 minutes in pan on wire rack.

9Remove from pan.

10Cool.
