- 2 bananas, mashed
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Crisco or margarine
- 4 Tbsp. sour cream or plain yogurt
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Directions

1Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.

2Cream Crisco and add sugar in separate bowl.

3Cream until very light; beat in, one at a time, 2 eggs.

4Add vanilla and sour cream.

5Mix, then add flour mixture in 3 parts, alternating with thirds of the banana mixture.

6Stir batter after each addition until smooth. Bake in greased tube pan 45 to 50 minutes or 2 (8-inch) round pans for 25 minutes, or sheet cake pan for 45 to 50 minutes at 350°. Cool 1/2 hour or so before removing cake.
