- 5 to 6 lb. beef roast
- wine and water to cover meat to cook for 3 hours
- 1 (28 oz.) bottle ketchup (more if necessary)
- 1 c. celery, sliced
- 1 c. onions, diced
- 1 c. green pepper, diced
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. mustard
Directions

1Boil roast in water and wine for 3 hours.

2Shred beef.

3Remove half the water and wine; reserve.

4Combine with the wine and water all the ingredients including the roast.

5Season and simmer, adding reserve liquid as necessary.

6Cook until desired doneness.
