  • 1 can each: kidney beans, green beans, yellow wax beans, butter beans and lima beans
  • 2 c. chopped celery
  • 1 sweet onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. cooking oil
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. dill weed (optional)

Directions

    Bring sugar, water, salt and oil to boil.

    Simmer 10 minutes and cool.

    Add vinegar and dill weed.

    Pour over beans and vegetables.

    Refrigerate overnight.
