- 1 lb. lean beef
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. Accent
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. dry sherry
- 2 to 3 medium green peppers
- 4 Tbsp. oil, divided
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
Directions

1Cut beef across the grain into slices about 2 inches long and 1/4 inch thick.

2Combine cornstarch, sugar and Accent; blend with soy sauce and sherry.

3Mix with beef; set aside.

4Cut green pepper into 1 1/2-inch slices.

5Pour 2 tablespoons oil into skillet.

6Set over high heat; add salt, then peppers.

7Stir constantly until peppers turn darker green, about 1 minute. Remove peppers, leaving oil in skillet.

8Add remaining oil to skillet with crushed garlic; stir in beef mixture and cook, turning constantly, about 2 minutes.

9Add green pepper; mix well. Serve with fried rice or plain rice.
